The Poets Collective chapbook series consists of 4-6 issues per year, including the annual magazine.
It is designed to reward readers with a limited, cohesive selection of work which deserves a broader audience and suggests possibilities for artistic growth.
While the magazine edition generally reflects a particular theme or idea it is intended to include the very best in writing. We promote language that is not merely descriptive but empowers us; we feel strongly about the "yogic" power of poetry, that words have transformative effects. We are looking for positive transformation through language.
We appreciate the strong connection between poetry and visual arts and intend that our covers provide a forum for artists whose work may also be featured online.
